The service is excellent and very fast the food is very good really well presented and tasty, I dream about the slate cooked Chateau Briand if that is how it is spelt even... More

We politely sent back a well done overcooked steak that was requested to be medium rare. My husband was then served up a steak that was only then flashed on the pan, it was completely raw. We then asked for that same steak to be cooked for a further minute each side. No apologies were offered and we paid up... More

Food is excellent yummy, although there used to be an anti pastie plate which we miss off the menu. The food is always really good and freshly made. Comfortable surroundings and the staff are really friendly never rush you to leave. In winter they light a fire which is really cosy sometimes can be a bit chilly inside during the... More

Stopped in here for a bite as we were passing by. We were pleasantly surprised with the food. We ordered the steak on a hot plate were you cook it yourself, it was really nice with the pepper sauce. If I'm ever near here again I will go back for that same dish. Henry. More

My partner ate here with some friends and made the sweeping claim that the burger was the best in the world. So, he had to take me back to trial it for myself. Always a worry when you build something up like that - but he was right. What a cracker. Perfectly cooked, fabulous bun, great Ballymaloe relish and Dubliner... More

The dew drop is a great place, really love the food and is consistently good. Home cooked comfort food, steaks, fish and something to suit all tastes. I had chicken wings to start really nice not too spicy, then I had honey glazed chicken with rocket and creamy pesto sauce, there were gorgeous roast potatoes with carmelised onions, the sauce... To be honest we never considered The Dew Drop as a place for dinner and as local enough people an advert in a local paper brought us in. The quality of the food is outstanding and with a kids eat free with each adult meal we have been back numerous times. We came one night with friends for the hot... More
