Beautiful cosy pub on the Connemara Loop 4 bike route. Stopped in for a drink and ended up staying for lunch and dinner and somehow made it back to Clifden in one piece. Delicious oysters and the O'hara's stout is definitly worth a try! More

Definitely worth stopping in. Mary, the bartender, was so cute and friendly, chatted us up the entire time. Met a wonderful couple vacationing from Dublin as well. O'Dowds is a terrific place! Definitely put it in your agenda of a place to go! More

Go into O'Dowds every time I am in Connemara and each time doesn't disappoint! Fantastic views, friendly staff and more importantly...lovely food. Can't beat the friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The seafood chowder is delicious. Hope to go back very soon :) More
