If you like garlic, try there garlic knots. Plenty of garlic and "butter", yum. Their pizzas are very good too. This is a kid friendly place.
My husband and I stopped in for dinner. We each ordered a slice and a small salad. The salad was fine--ordinary, nothing special, but also nothing wilted which is always a plus. The server offered extra dressing if desired (which my husband appreciated). I had the Greek dressing and my husband had blue cheese, both OK, not great. The slices... More
Ok, so they really are NYC-sized pizza slices, which means more value for the money. And they really are $1 per slice for cheese slices on a particular day of the week (right now it's Monday's). And they really do feel like a mid-scale Pizza Hut, minus all the grease on your pizza. What's not to like?
I had dinner at this restaurant with my son. He had two large slices of pizza and I had a pasta dinner. Both were good. I have had dinner here before and we will return. Great family oriented atmosphere and a great option when you don't want to cook at home.
Was gonna try pizza by the slice but found that by doing that it was gonna be over $5 a slice for the toppings I wanted so I went with an entree instead. I had the Bronx bomber which was meatballs, sausage and pepperoni. It was just OK, wasn't great. I will come again to try something else. Our waiter... More
I've reviewed this restaurant before but recently went there and found something I didn't like. The Garlic Knots. Save your money. They were very hard balls of overdone dough drizzled with oleomargarine and had minced garlic haphazardly sprinkled over the knots. Not appetizing and certainly didn't look good. Not Johnny's usual quality. Will still come back but not for Knots.
We are former Greg's Pizza lovers but since it changed hands have been looking for a place that uses top quality ingredients. Last night, we found a place. The Quattro formaggio pizza was excellent, and the caprese salad was too. If you appreciate fine ingredients, give these guys a try. I promise you won't be disappointed.
They have very good pizza if it's cooked correctly. But very often they are under cooked.
I visited on Wednesday night and it happened to be $1 pints from 5-9 pm. Needless to say that we stayed a while. The $1 pints was great but the pizza we got was even better. We got a large meat deluxe which consisted of beef, sausage, bacon, canadian bacon and pepperoni. The toppings were loaded down, no skimmpy pizza... More
We live in Atlanta, Georgia and have Johnny Brusco Pizza restaurants; our family's favorite. Parents live in Johnson City, so we were visiting and thrilled to find our favorite pizza had come to the area; most notably, as they definitely have the best meatballs, calzones and chicken parmigiana-not to mention "real" pizza, they have the freshest salads in town. Expected... More
