Description: Nestled within The Factory at Franklin, the chefs at Saffire begin stoking the coals early in the day, well before any guests ever arrive. These Tennessee Hickory coals radiate from within the hand-built smoker and cast iron grill of Saffire's exposed kitchen. Locally grown produce and indigenous flavors combine with exotic ingredients, deliciously tender meats and a phenomenal array of wines and libations to create a menu that is uniquely Saffire. A welcoming staff further distinguishes your experience at Saffire from anywhere else around. Locally and nationally acclaimed, Saffire is a neighborhood restaurant with a big city feel. It's a sought-after destination for both locals and visitors who know it is well worth the trip outside of Nashville to experience everything that only Saffire can provide. Wonderfully creative cuisine and spectacular wine, welcoming surroundings and attentive service; this is Saffire.

Visiting friends in Franklin and they recommended Saffire. The food and the atmosphere are both great. My husband had the chicken fried chicken and he raved and raved about how fantastic it was, reluctantly he share a small bite with me and he was right, it was excellent. Our friends order shrimp and grits, they were also very good but... More

We tried Saffire on Saturday evening around 6:30 pm. The food was "to-die-for." I had never tried Shrimp 'n Grits, but had wanted to on many occasions. They were most excellent. My husband had their Chicken Fried Chicken, and it was also excellent. We additionally loved the ambiance of the restaurant. Service was good. Absolutely no complaints. Food was a... More

The food at Saffire always delights. Very creative but always delicious. Friendly service. The only thing I dislike are the chairs if you sit too long.

While visiting the Nashville area, we enjoyed a nice supper at Saffire. The restaurant is located in a former factory building, making good re-use of the space with a long bar and plenty of tables. Started with the steamed mussels in a garlic broth that were tasty. Also a salad that was okay. Moved on to entrees of blackened tenderloin... More

I LOVE Saffire! I don't think I have ever had a meal there I didn't completely enjoy. Their shrimp and grits are my favorite, but their quesadilla (which are huge) are great lunch as well. Lunch time they have a card - 4 lunches and the 5th is free (probably went about 5 times before I realized there was this... More

This was an incredible place to eat. i was with 5 other people on a Tuesday night. the service was great, the food wonderful (especially their legendary chicken fried chicken and bread pudding dessert). If i'm this way again i will definitely be back.

My wife and I truly think this is one of our top 5 restaurants! We make a point of eating here every chance we get. The restaurant is run by the same people who run the Loveless Café, which is a Nashville landmark. I love southern cooking and the food here can not be beat!

Fabulous Southern staples with a twist make this restaurant the ideal spot for a quick lunch while shopping at The Factory or for a dinner with your significant other. I have never been disappointed with any dish, the service is always excellent. I love the eclectic look and feel of Saffire.

I have been to Saffire many times and enjoyed my meal each time. I love the casual ambiance and a bit more creative menu, but Thursday evening was a total bust. We had a European guest with us and were looking forward to a relaxed and pleasant evening. The evening and the company were great, but our meals were a... More

I had received mixed reviews about Saffire---some loving it, others not liking it at all. I went with my 37 year old daughter and my 85 year old mother, and all 3 of us loved it! Our server was a super-energetic young lady who could not have been better. Wonderful choices of appetizers and entres. Nice wine list. Tables along... More
