The food is great and the wait-staff very friendly. Who could ask for more? They usually have a daily special and the usual cafe fare.

This place is dark, dingy and uncomfortable. The food is fairly good but nothing special. While we were there our server (presumably the owner) was sitting at a table on her laptop, yelling orders back to the young kids who were evidently the chefs, and who had to come out and ask her how to cook our food. It wasn't...

You can get a fine meal here. Service was a bit slow for no more people in at the time BUT it was great waitress did a fine job. I'd eat here anytime
If you want a good basic traditional breakfast, this is a good one. The food was good and the service was excellent. I was there after the tourist season and before hunting season, so ti was quiet and filled with locals. The place has a "Cheers" like feel where everyone knew everyone and even the two outsiders (my daughter and...

We go to the Hills several times a year and our breakfast is almost always here. Best food around and they have a great breakfast buffet during the summer! Quiet little place on the boardwalk and the people are the best. Great service and very friendly. Would and do recommend to all.
WE have steak and shrimp.....great meal and very reasonable price. They did seem a bit short handed for wait staff that night, but we did get very good service. The pies looked wonderful, but we were both far to full to even consider sharing a slice.
Had breakfast twice.. Was good. Service was nice! Although eggs over medium means no runny whites. Did run out of tables both mornings we were there.
The service was good, but they ran out of the special and baked potatoes fairly early in the evening. I would not suggest this cafe to friends.
Looking at the other reviews, I don't know where those people ate, but I enjoyed the food very much! It was girlfriends weekend and before hitting all the tourist spots we stopped at the Cafe for breakfast. I had an omelette & hashbrowns and my friend had french toast & bacon. We enjoyed a cup of coffee and the "locals"...

The place looks like it could be something special unfortunate the food quality destroys that idea fast. We had the breakfast buffet. The eggs were cold, the bacon soggy, the biscuits hard as rocks and the fruit tasteless. For the price, the food quality should have been much, much better.
