We stopped here for brunch. The menu is a buffet set up in an intimate little dining room. Yesterday the menu options were quiche, biscuits n ' gravy, fresh fruit, grits, SC boil, scrambled eggs, bacon, plus an assortment of mini muffins, bread pudding and cookies. We opted for the mimosas and water but the tea selection was wonderful. The... More

I absolutely love the quaint and cozy atmosphere of this one of a kind tearoom. It captivates southern hospitality and great customer service. I enjoy the various menu options that differ from day to day. They provide home cooked meals that are of great quality and very delectable. I often go there to enjoy a hot pot of tea, which... More

This is an intimate, family run teahouse/restaurant. Judy has done quite a job decorating, it is hard to tell where the restaurant stops and the shop begins. The Sunday Brunch has a wonderful and plentiful selection of food - all made fresh and hot. There are fun nooks and crannies filled with treasures AND candy to boot. Service is typical... More

They have over 50 different types of hot tea to choose from. The menu changes everyday & the Cheesecake is to die for!

The Whole house is a nice relaxed dinner experience. The owners mix with the patrons and describe the meals of the night. Nice eclectic surroundings and a cross section of the old town feel and some upper scale dining.

My Mother and I had lunch there for the first time yesterday. We absolutely loved it. I have been to other tea houses and found the decor cutesy, lots of pink and florals etc. This Whole House's atmosphere is a must to experience. The attention to detail and the vintage treasures was fantastic and made for a more "authentic" experience.... More

My friend and I went to This Whole House for dinner (something they had just started doing). The food was very good and the service was wonderful. It is a family owned and operated restaurant and they go out of their way to make you feel as if you are one of the family. I would highly recommend it!

Thank you so much for your kind review. Our dinners on Thrus, Friday, and Saturday nights started with requests from many of our guests asking us to expand our menu to include an evening meal in addition to our weekly lunch and Sunday brunch. You have been a very loyal guest (I see you review us in 2008) and I... More

I've been several times. Very enjoyable. A variety of tea cups & teas to choose from. Very comfortable atmosphere in a historic Summerville house. You can sit on the porch, at a table on the front lawn, or inside dining area. The shopping is great too. Good place for a relaxed get-together with family or friends or by yourself with... More

Thank you Sue O, I really appreciate this lovely review, it's great to hear from people that like the finer, yet simpler things in life, that we sometimes forget about. With the weather being what it is lately, you are so right about sitting on the porch or at a table on the lawn, with a great cup of tea... More

I have been to This Whole House many times for luncheons and several bridal showers. Our party has always been catered to and pampered. The food is always good and the service exceptional. On at least 2 occasions, we reserved the entire room for our party and always got more than we paid for. Me, and mine, will continue to... More

We had reservations for our large group and were assured they could accommodate us. We were told there were daily changing menu items, as well as seven new salads available every day, and several quiches that were available every day. When we got there, the owner seemed flustered/annoyed and uncertain which tables we were to use and kept changing her... More

Dear waif305, I would like to first, thank this group for visiting This Whole House and second, to respond. If your group of 15 wanted to have the tearoom all too them selves, guaranteeing their personal seating and dining, that could have been arranged by reserving the room with a $75.00 room fee, offered for parties. We are a small,... More
