This place was middle of the road for me...which doesn't have to mean bad. I didn't care for the bread at all and the butter had a refrigerator flavor to it. I hate when that isn't great at a restaurant because it can really set the tone. We went early in the evening for a light dinner. We shared the... More

Had dinner at Barons April 12/13 and tried their Fulton Mountain Steak ($26), a 12 oz. NY strip, encrusted with ground expresso bean, cocao, garlic, onion and peppercorn atop a bed of whiskey Bordelaise. It was cooked to perfection, cut like butter and was an absolute taste sensation. With a Caesar salad, baked potato (butter & sour cream) and a... More

We went to Baron's for dinner on the advice of a friend. We were very pleased with the service and the food. The atmosphere was intimate and fancy enough for us. Our server, John, was just right. He looked after us very well without hovering. Although the specialty is steak, we opted for a seafood pasta dish which was excellent.... More

If you haven't been here in a few years, you need to return. The Restaurant is under new ownership within the last few years, and it shows. The food use to be ok, but it's now one of the best fine dining spots on the beach. It is small and offers an intimate experience. While the food is great here,... More

When our favorite restaurant was closed for the season, we read the reviews on Tripadvisor and decided to give Baron's a whirl. What a wonderful surprise. We have been coming to Myrtle Beach for 15 years and never knew this hidden gem existed. The waitstaff (Gabe) was attentive, friendly, and efficient. The food as excellent and the wine divine. We... We would have never tried this restaurant or even heard of it if we didn't see it on restaurant.com. So glad we did though. It was delicious. It was rather pricey, but soooo good. The service was great and attentive. We will definitely be recommending and probably returning the next time we come down. We had our 18 month old... More

Decided to try Barons for the first time. We read the reviews on trip advisor and a few people recommended it. Our server TJ was excellent -he explained the menu and specials for the night. My husband had the Fenway Filet -the crab meat on top was very tasty. My filet and garlic mash potatoes were very good-nice size portions.... More

We saved the best for last on our recent vacation. This is the hidden gem that folks talk about. My wife and I both had the filet. Ithought it was great, and she said hers was even better. The service was great. We waited about an hour for food , but it was worth it. We did make a reservation.... More

We enjoyed everthing about the place. The service was excellent! Our waiter Gabe was great. My husband and I ordered the Filet Fenway. It was delicious. The cheesecake was perfect, not too heavy or sweet. The atomosphere was warm and intimate with relaxing music. We will definitely come back. Thanks for a great evening. I highly recommend this place.
