Very attentive service, and welcoming management - the food was fresh and tasty.
Great food and service. The manager, George, makes you feel at home.
Just got back from a week on Hilton Head. Tried several different restaurants and It's Greek To Me stood out. Excellent food and eating on the front porch, weather permitting, is the way to go. The Greek combo was outstanding featuring 4 different Greek items and the portions were huge. The gyros were also great. I would definitely go back.
My husband and I ate at "It's Greek to Me II" while vacationing. We went for lunch on a weekday. The restaurant was very clean and the atmosphere was great (Greek, but not over-the-top). The food was TERRIFIC. We had a traditional gyro wrap and a chicken souvlaki wrap - and it was some of the best souvlaki I've ever... More
The food was pretty good when it arrived. It took quite a while and we felt ignored by our watress. Manager showed very little concern for our dining experience. Server could tell we were not happy and included gratuity with check. Food was pretty good, but unless you are really in the mood for Greek we would not recommend going... More
Our group consisted of my husband and son (who rarely venture beyond meat and potatoes when eating out), my daughter is who VERY familiar with, and picky about, greek cuisine and myself -- open-minded and some general background in greek food. We loved most everything, and we tried quite a sampling, including mousaka, pastitsio, spanakopita, dolmathes, greek salad, greek potatoes,... More
The Greek food is good but beware of the "broiled" fish which is not broiled and is covered with a Cajun spicey sauce which renders the fish inebible. Stick to the sterotypical Greek food and you will have a satisfying if not spectacular meal.
I wouldn't call this elegant food, but its solid and consistent. The hummus, calimari and gyros are all very good. The service can be spotty (rude) , but this is HHI.
We love Greek food and have eaten some of the best. This isn't it. Even the moussaka was bland. The menu is mundane if you are used to really good and varied Greek food. Lamb, which is a staple of most Greek restaurants, doesn't appear here except as a lamb chop - none of the wonderful, slow cooked lamb dishes... More
