The crab cakes were good, probably the first time in my life I have ever liked crab cakes. Nice choice of outdoor dining, screen porch seating, and indoor seating

Food sucks, server was disrespectful and short! I don't know how people rate this place number 1! Maybe we just had a bad meal and experience! Based on the reviews I almost want to try it once more
A great southern breakfast complete with mouth watering grits. The breakfast is far bettern than dinner. Seating is tight and deserts overpriced.
This quaint small restaurant is open year round, so I was told. It is a local hot spot for breakfast with all the trimmings, also a good place for lunch with sandwich offerings. We did not have dinner here, but I am sure it is excellent!
One of the main attractions of this restaurant is the resident dessert maker! We...

Recommended by a friend who grew up here, we had breakfast at this funky, beach-style restaurant while staying at the nearby resort. The food was expertly prepared, the portions HUGE, and the service down-home friendly. If I am ever at Edisto again, I will make a point of having breakfast there once more!
This a perfect beach dive place with a fabulous cook. Fried anything is done perfectly, and the shrimp and grits are prepared a little differently, but so, so good. Mighty good pie too.
This was our second time to eat at the Sea Cow Eatery. The first time was Sept 2011. The food and the service was wonderful. Unbelievible large shrimp and the hamburgers have great flavor. We did not have room for pie but got some to go -- again wonderful. I can highly recommend the coconut. We will make this an...

Yep, the Sea Cow Eatery has the best food on Edisto Island .. Hands Down!! As about the only restaurant serving breakfast, it is surely the best. You won't go away hungry. The service is a little slow at the Sea Cow for breakfast, but the place is usually very busy. But remember, you're on EDISLOW!! So relax and enjoy...

Therefore my prime meal is lunch. My wife even tolerates it. The Sea Cow is a little jewel on edisto. Our first meal consisted of a shrimp...

Spent a week on Edisto Beach in April - ate out every meal so had the opportunity to sample nearly every restaurant. This was our favorite for breakfast, lunch and a light dinner! Dining inside or outside, cute sea cow decorations, not fancy, a favorite with the locals and prices slightly above average but about right for the beach. No...
