Great food....good service and a gracious staff. Do think though that the owners should do something about the restrooms. Badly need rehab...difficult to enter.

Recommended by local hotel: interior is odd or sad. A large open room with retro bar, Greek decor or something similar. The chairs are imitation bamboo banquet chairs that are very uncomfortable and the linen table settings are under glass which shouts cost cutting. Once you get past the unpleasant first impression, the food is good, reasonably priced. The saving...

We had their specialty, fried whole flounder. It was good, but just a little over cooked. We shared a tomato and mozzarella salad that was very well done. Our dessert was very good--almond cone filled with vanilla ice cream and berries. I would go again, but I'd go to Solstice first.
Very good food, excelent service and a great setting made this a place to go if you are in Columbia, South Carolina. Prices were reasonable for this good of a restaurant. The seafood was fresh and well prepared.
Our 4th visit and we are never disappointed. Extremely long wait on busy weekends even with reservations (Parent's weekend, football, etc) but excellent service and food selections. recommend the calamari for an appetizer and the Garibaldi salad to start. Veal Piccata was good but heavy on the salt, Eggplant parmigiana was another nice dish. We did not go with our...

We chose this for my husband's birthday dinner based on the good reviews but were not impressed. We were seated promptly by a young, eager server who was congenial. He highly recommended the crispy flounder signature dish which we ordered after we had shared a very fresh and tasty order of mussels served in a buttery wine sauce and the...

Thanks to TripAdvisor, we were searching for a good Italian restaurant in Columbia, and came up with a winner in Garibaldi's! Turns out that the setting is a little more up market than we thought at first, but was perfect. It reminded us of a typical New Orleans restaurant, open & well-appointed. The salad (entree) was very good, not a...

We recently went to Garibaldi's of Columbia for the first time. We had their tilapia special, which was on a bed of potato hash--it was very good! The best part was the dessert - a nest of almond which was filled with vanilla ice cream and fresh berries -- delicious!! If there was a downside, it would be that we...

their crispy fried flounder is very good but a little over priced by about $5.00 the service was very good, the bread is only average before the meal good wine selection Very poor beer selection, NO craft beers
When you walk by the restaurant at night, Garibaldi's looks like the place to be in Five Points - everyone looks beautiful and contented. And the food is the big reason why - it's always fresh-tasting and inventive. And the service is perfect every time.
