Based on the quality of food and service, I'll definitely return soon! The bread is fabulous. Really enjoyed the Bruschetta with white beans ($8). A tad more salt or pepper and it would have been unbeatable. My dining companion had Veal Scalloppini ($26) which was served over creamy polenta. Normally shy away from polenta but after having a taste, I'm... More

This restaurant is not at all as pictured... it is very dark, my husband described it as "dingy". The dim lights, dark walls, old drapes and pillows gave me a feeling of not being clean, though I can't honestly say I saw dirt or dust. The poor waiter seemed to have the dining area we were in, as well as... More

What a fantastic experience. Beth Ann, the owner, seated us at what we considered to be the restaurant's best table. We enjoyed a private balcony that overlooked Society Street. The door to the balcony could be closed off from the rest of the house which made our dining experience seem private and intimate. Our server Danny was spectacular; undoubtedly at... More

Muse is a tiny townhouse tucked away in quiet Wentworth Street. You'd have to be looking for it, because you wouldn't just happen to find it. Very good food and service, appropriately priced. The night we were there, the hostess was tramping around as heavily and loudly as she could, but if you didn't let that bother you -- and... More

I've eaten at Muse at least six times and it never disappoints. Over Memorial Day weekend we had a group of 11 for dinner and Muse really delivered. The service was excellent and that's not easy with so many people. The food was delicious -- fresh and innovative without going over the top. And Muse offers a great atmosphere --... More

Scallops and catch of the day (Grouper) were wonderful. Lovely atmosphere and attentive service. Great selection of wines. The Tuna appetizer was amazing.

We arrived early on a Friday night and a rather slow disorganized staff soon became a rushed disorganized staff. The distractions were so great that it was difficult to recall the details of the food but from what we remember, it was OK as was the ambiance. Energetic might be a polite way to describe the overall atmosphere. Please note... More

We visited Muse on Saturday night before the theatre. On the website, it stated there were specials for the Theatre but the waitress never asked us even though the postcard was sitting on our table. When I inquired about the "Theatre menu" she brought them, and then spilled my martini on the menu. Overall the food was fairly good even... More

Our dinners were great here on a recent visit on a Saturday night. The place was crowded, and could be loud at times, but not out of the ordinary of most places. We started with the Meza platter which was great and just right for 2-3 people. I had the scallops with succotash, and my mom had had the Shrimp... More

We were walking around the neighborhood, looking for one more place for a small bite to eat and a nightcap. Nothing was appealing to us, as establishments were looking too loud, crowded, too brightly lit, etc. As we walked down the small and narrow Society Street, we found our place! It appealed to us immediately because of the classic old... More
