The coffee was fine but the services behind the counter were blasé and not helpful. They seemed to think my ordering was a chore for them. No Southern hospitality here.
I would be doubly disappointed had we gone in to buy coffee just to use the washroom which was out of order and not just to sit on the porch and watch the boats and yachts on the Inter Coastal waterway! I'm doubly disappointed!

The early morning coffee is divine. Quiet, meditative atmosphere. Fruit, cookies, lunchie type fare available but the coffee, the coffee is the draw... the shop looks out on the bay so in great weather there is no place more beautiful to grab a cup of joe ...
Coffee was good, lots of variety in the fancy drinks (hot and chilled). Plain black coffee that I drink passed the test (from someone who uses a Chemex daily at home). The shop itself is neat and has a good location right on the waterfront park with plenty of seating. Stop by to satisfy your java fix when in Beaufort.
Beautiful porch with perfect view overlooking the river and the bridge. Great location for an afternoon treat and good service. However the coffee I had was nothing but average, so that shouldn't be the reason to go there:-/
