Visited on a sunny Sunday at noon. Wonderful fresh food on the menu and for sale in the market. Great place to stock up for a picnic with some sandwiches and a nice bottle of wine. Owners were working the counter and were very polite and pleasant. Service was good and they were packed with the after church rush but... More

Overpriced. $42 for three adults for lunch! Very slow service. Very unorganized. Too much to type. Goodluck.

We loved this place. The restaurant is located in Beaufort's old town hall and the soaring interior is bright and cheery. Breakfast was very good. We each had perfect poached eggs with homemade sausage and wonderful potatoes. The home made jams were excellent promptly us to buy several jars on our way out. The service was pleasant. A most enjoyable... More

We had lunch here and found it very unique. The high ceilings and number of windows made it well lit and nice to just sit and look around.

Fresh, fresh, fresh! Great selections, but few selections. Regardless, whatever you get is going to be fresh and good. We have visited for weekend breakfasts and various lunches. Burgers and sandwiches are wonderful. Atmosphere is lowcountry perfect.

More café than market place, this place is a bit self-consciously trendy, but the salted carmel chocolate cupcakes are to die for! The mini-cupcake (two small bites) at $1.50 is just perfect. The larger (more normal size) cupcake could be overwhelming, unless you save some for later (which might be hard to do). Taste of the salted carmel icing combined... More

We have looked for a good local place for breakfast for a long time. This one delivers with good food and service in the setting of an interesting produce and local food goods retail setting. This is a second location for the original out on US 21 and makes a welcome addition to downtown

The lunch that we had at Lowcountry Produce and Cafe was just outstanding. The old city hall building has been renovated to show off its charm and house the market and cafe. Our meals were freshly made and served by young people who cared. This is a must for anyone in Beaufort at lunch time.

If you want a beautifully cooked, contemporary take on southern food in a welcoming, cool setting, this is the place to go. We are visitors in the area, but never miss Sunday brunch here when we're in town for the winter months. We try to make Friday evening as well if we can. They're trying to develop their own brand... We have been spending the winter here, and highly recommend this beautiful restaurant - we keep going back and back again. The food is local and adventurous. The cheese grits to die for. The hosts are friendly. Love the coffee at breakfast. It's beginning to feel like home!
