During the peak season, expect long lines snaking out the door--don't worry, they go quickly and it's worth the wait. The coconut ice cream is outstanding; so is the Moose Tracks.

This place blows away the nearby Ben & Jerry's. This is an Island institution. Friendly staff, mostly young women from Europe (like many of the businesses on the island). Families clad in shorts and flip flops line up here every night but the service is fast. Make sure you leave a tip!

This is THE place for ice cream on the island. Always a long line in the evening and interior never changes. Great favors, homemade waffle cones, and the best homemade whipped cream.

Gained weight here, but great spot that has been around forever. Yoghurt mixes are wonderful. Homemade baked goods great, ESP when combined with ice cream.

We always come here for good cones and interesting flavors. The line generally moves fast as the workers hustle.

Expect a line on a summer evening. Many flavors, ample portions, and resort pricing are standard. The outdoor patio makes a great place to share your treat with family and friends. Highly recommend the Ice Cream Place as an after dinner or after beach stop for a frozen extravaganza.

This shop has many ice cream flavors but they are not labeled in the case so you need to look at the sign and then sort of guess what's in the case. Still the variety alone makes this a fun stop during your Block Island visit.

No ambiance but the ice cream is very creamy with interesting selections. If you're having ice cream, do thisw instead of Ben and Jerry's (that's for back home)
