I had been told the Newberry Sub Shop had "the best" subs in the area. I am a cheese cosmo aficionado and always searching for the best one in my travels. I called in my half-cheese-cosmo-with-everything order beforehand. The shop was cute and clean and the staff was friendly. The sub was ready in a timely fashion and was inexpensive.... More

Just the best sub shop for Tuna Melts and Cheese Steaks. They are huge if you get the whole (half also available) and stuffed really full of what you ordered. Oh did I mention "Really reasonably price."

I have this number in my phone and everytime I am in Williamsport Area I get a hoagie here. There cheesesteaks in the garden are fabulous and are enough to feed three people. Small shop with big taste and friendliness.

Great food and help. The only fault I can find is if you don't like waiting call ahead because they are almost always very busy, which speaks of how good they are. Prices are reasonable and very filling.

It's your typical little sub shop with 3 tables. While eating here I noticed that they do a lot of take outs. The subs are fairly large even the halfs are big. I had the meatball cosmo. It was probably one of the best meatball sub that I have eaten. It had about 5 or 6 huge meatballs that just... More

Hard to understand how anyone could eat that grease sandwich. Lots of meat but it made me start to feel sick in the stomach about half way through. The meat was not very good quality. Bun needs improved.

This place is not good for my diet. The cheesesteaks are the best in our area... BUT they don't except credit cards or deliver! That's the only bad part.

for a little sub shop tucked into the corner of williamsport it is definately famous the subs are simple yet beat subway by a long shot. If you want an excellent homemade sub this is where you come.

This place has been around for as long as I can remember. I may be wrong but I don't think the ownership has been the same since I remember it in the 60s. Anyhow - if you want a good hoagie in Williamsport (sorry East enders), you have to head to Newberry. Newberry sub shop still had a great one... More

Great subs for decent prices. Recommend cheesesteak or their sausage (with peppers/onions/cheese)
