We ordered a Cheesesteak and I normally order extra cheese, but there was plenty. We also got 2 Italian hoagies and a hot dog. The food was good. They were friendly, but all 3 workers never put on gloves. The same guy would run the cash register, answer the phone, take orders, help prepare the food and Never washed his... More

Read reviews on tripadvisor and couldn't pass up getting sandwiches from here. Well once again didn't disappoint. Got steak sandwiches, chicken parm, flaming roast and grilled cheese plus fries and potato salad. You could call ahead but we forgot so we had to wait for them to make them fresh. The workers were very efficient and extremely nice. We took... More

Ordered 16 large hoagies to be cut in fours and separately wrapped and labeled. 8 Italian, 4 Roast Beef and 4 Turkey. Made and packaged perfectly. They were placed in a roll box, plastic bag on top and I covered with 2 intact large bags of ice. Lasted 3 hours in the back of an SUV in the Phillies Tailgate... More

I was in Philly and I didn't feel like waiting in line at Gino's or Tony's or Pat's... I instead drove down to Chester where I was doing business and saw this place on trip advisor... what a gem... the cheesesteak was BETTER than the other guys, seriously... it was. The price is hard to beat and the two ladies... More

We were on a road trip from Colorado on May 31, 2011 and were told by people in Elkton, MD. that while we travelled on I-95 North we had to stop off at the Little Hut Sandwich Shop for a Philly Cheesesteak. We were in Chester, Pa (I think) and called ahead. The staff at Little Hut were as friendly... More

I travel frequently around the country and grew up in the Philly area. I lived out of state for about 10 years and visited Little Hut as often as possible when in town. I have even had hoagies shipped "wrapped for travel" and overnighted to friends and family as far away as Hawaii. The help is wonderful and the place... More

I have been going to Little Hut since it opened in 1984 after recently retiring from the Army. I go there 3-4 weeks for Mikes large Italian hoiages and extra meat cheese steaks. The food is above and beyond the call of duty. The servers are great and service is outstanding. The meats and cheeses are always lean and tasty.... More

Stopped here based on the reviews. I found the cheesesteak to be just average. Nothing really special. It was a little greasy and had a watery flavor. It wasn't bad, nor was it a really good sandwich. I doubt if. I'd go back again. More

From 1984 to 1988, my wife and I enjoyed the wonderful cheese steaks at the Little Hut. In 2007, I took my kids to the east coast to visit the historical sites and I got them the cheesesteaks which they really loved (had to go back and order some more to take with us as we headed south). Last week,... More
