Highly enjoyable food. I went with a large group and we were treated wonderfully. I have been dreaming about the Brie since going there, by far the best that I've had.
The place is small but inviting. Be sure to call ahead. Perfect place for a comforting french meal. We live in the southside and eat here about once a month. Place is a hidden gem. It reminds me of a place you would find tucked away in a small street in Parris. BYOB too.
We had dinner here a few nights ago. There were 7 of us. The server and staff accommodated us without a single issue. The food was ready on time and delicious. We sat on the patio, which is a little small, but it is very cozy. It probably had the best ambiance of many of the patios in the burg...... More
Absolutely everything we had was outstanding! We were early for our reservations and the table before us was running late, so we spent about a half hour at the bar next door: nothing fancy, but reasonably priced and fun. Our food was unquestionably worth the wait. Our party of four had two appetizers (I highly recommend the spinach dip) the... More
Tucked away on Pittsburgh's south side, among lots of bars, is this BYOB restaurant, small but inviting, that serves outstanding and interesting appetizers and salads and good to very good entrees. Outdoor seating in nice weather can make for a very pleasant dining experience. Attentive and courteous wait staff. No credit cards.
I found Cafe du Jour by chance when walking along East Carson Street from the Holiday Inn Express. Went here with my wife for a date night. Very friendly manager/owner? Food was good, a little overpriced. Service was excellent, for even though the place is BYOB, we got a couple of complementary glasses of wine for free.
Based on a tip through the tripadvisor forum my husband and I sought out an "off the beaten path" dinner spot in Pittsburgh. We had a wonderful candlelit dinner in their little garden out back. The food was delightful and the service knowledgeable and sweet. We brought our own wine!
Great BYOB in Southside, Pittsburgh. The food is perfectly portioned, and both flavorful and inventive. My husband and I both loved the music, food, and atmosphere. They offer several vegetarian items which was great!
