Nice for an evening out. Menu designed for every palate. Something Blue Martini was great. Service was excellent.

Great food and service! Love the atmosphere. Will definitely be returning for dinner service. Anxious to try some of the pasta dishes.

It is said if you like to feel waited on like royalty then this is the place to go...........so we did - 8 of us. The service indeed is 5 stars, drinks reasonable, food ample and tasty. The restaurant is located on Pitts fun southside. One specialty is the "pillows", soft stuffed pasta served 3 ways. They were delightful, and... More

I've had the pleasure of eating there a few times and it's ALWAYS good food, good service and a fun atmosphere. Highly recommended! Just off Carson Street on 17th in the fantastic South Side Pittsburgh

Had a wonderful meal here during the holiday season. Cozy atmosphere with great local wine and food was absolutely delicious. If your waiter recommends something...try it! Was well worth it.

Small but cozy restaurant. Rest-room could use a little upgrade. Didn't have appetizers as we were running a little late for the theatre but the fried zucchini at the next table looked wonderful. The salad was not to My liking - all the greens were wilted & limp - I like crispy greens. House dressing was on the sweet side.... More

Started off with Sweet Revenge Lemonade. Had to have a second one. Then the appetizer was the Foccacia and that was thoroughly enjoyed. The salad came and I was starting to get fool then when my main dish came the Pecan Crusted Tilapia was to die for. Could only eat half of it then took the rest home for another... More

Please hold the hate-mail but after extensive travel throughout the world and living on the East coast the 17th Street Cafe epitomizes the warmth and friendliness of the mid-west. Yes we take each person individually but Pittsburgh's reputation for hospitality was repeated every time we came in contact with service staff, business owners, cab drivers, and pedestrians. The waitress was... More

Food was above average and they made room for a party of three on a busy date night (Valentine's Day) which was very sweet.

Fake italian menu. Overpriced for what it is. Making wrong also the cesar salad (not enough dressing and overcoocked chicken) is not easy, but.....
