I contacted onda to book in for a dinner for my partner and I. I was a little hesitant after speaking with the new restaurant manager (the blonde lady) because she seamed a bit erratic and honestly downright loopy. In past years, this has been a major restaurant in Terrigal - great location across from the beach, pleasing atmosphere and an award winner for its food.
Perhaps it's because of those previous standards and awards that it gets judged but it is not the same anymore - ordinary service and ordinary food.
Pity as everything about says it should...

I was really disappointed after going there years ago and loving it. This time we arrived and they had lost our booking and made us feel awkward about it. Then the food starts arriving which was ok, then out come the cockroaches... Yuck! Never again

Turned up on a Monday night after having booked a table. Told when we arrived that the Oven wasn't working and we would be unable to dine there
We can't understand why they didn't call us as we walked there, arrived at 7pm only to be then told they were closed.
Staff seemed embarrassed as they should have been.

We just dine in today and can't wait to write a review because of great service we received today from all the host ...complement to their great hospitality ,so overwhelmed by their friendly service.Ambience and to die for lunch menu..Creme bullee is excellent and chicken tagliatelle is recommended..Love it love it...
