This is a compact little cafe within the museum serving breakfast and lunches. Coffee is great and the cakes are all home made and delicious. A great place for a light meal.

Ignoring the oh-so-tempting homemade slices, we opted for "the big breakfast" - and it was! Two eggs (any way you like), more rashes of bacon than we could handle, two tomatos, a local beef sausage, baked beans and two slices of toast with butter. Great value (for Lord Howe) at $18.50.
The food is nice, and interesting venue in the museum which is worth a visit. We had lunch here twice in a week.
Best restaurant value on the island. Good food, less expensive than other dining choices. Good desserts.
While riding our bikes around L.H. exploring the island, we ended up coming down the hill towards the museum. even though we had already been in to look around the museum, we decided it was coffee time. Lovely friendly staff. Quick service. Nice balcony to sit at and overlook the palms.
a good place to stop for a cuppa. bike...

There's not many places where you can find the museum curator running around in bare feet, fixing internet connections after a subtropical down pour one minute, introducing an audio visual display to a group of visitors or chatting with visiting scientists over morning coffee the next but this is one of them. Coral Cafe is nestled in the Tourist Information...

We ate here for lunch and it was really yummy, the people were friendly and lovely and the food was great
The museum is a must for the history buffs, the cafe is best for a cuppa and homemade slices. The lunch menu is not spectacular, simple wraps and sandwiches and the staff are pleasant.
After a walk to the museum and then over Transit Hill, the lunch stop at the museum was relaxing, and very enjoyable. Toasted sandwitches and a drink on the verandah - quality food and friendly service.
