It's a very nice place to take a break from day's busy activities and to be treated to a very satisfying experience.

Stayed overnight in Bedford and used TripAdvisor to find a restaurant for dinner. We liked the sound of the Bird's Nest and liked it even better after dining there. The restaurant seats maybe 30 people in a very old building downtown in an attractive space that was an antique shop.
The menu offered a nice, but not extravagant, variety with...

Mike greeted us and Chris served us. Both guys Re great. Every dish is prepared to order. We were there for breakfast. The fresh fruit cup was lovely to look at and very sweet. It even contained blackberries. The pancakes were very delicious. The grain bread was exceptional. We will definitely return soon. On some evenings, they also have musicians...

We went to the Bird's Nest Cafe for dinner on a Saturday night. It's an adorable space, very rustic and filled with antiques. The night we went, they had a set menu with some options under each course. Everything we ate was delicious. The service was a tad slow, but we didn't mind.. we just enjoyed a nice dinner together....

They are open most days for breakfast and lunch, and on Friday and Saturday nights for dinner. Reservations a must for dinner. The food is inventive and excellent - making use of fresh local ingredients, and everything is made from scratch, including...

Loved everything about the Bird's Nest Cafe: great ambiance, wonderful service (thanks to Colton an Inge), all meals and desserts were freshly made on site. Delicious!!
Wow - quite a unique and enjoyable restuarant. We had dinner and breakfast the next day at the restuarant. Service was excellent. Food was excellent. Prices reasonable :) The Chef came out to visit after dinner was served - what a nice treat. I will return to this restuarant
A good selection of great dining options and excellent service. Would come here again.
This was my second time at the Bird's Nest Cafe. Last year, we had an extremely "laid-back" experience. Way too slow for breakfast. This time, while everything is sole proprietor cooked-to-order, it wasn't that bad in service. And, the food was just fabulous. Some people say you can't screw up breakfast. I can say that's not true. But this was...
