We had the prime rib and a salad. The food was excellent, the service was great. We'll be back. The ambiance is a country theme. Well-priced too. Great experience.
I have eaten here several times, just traveling through, and the food is very good. Get their Cinnamon roll to go, and it will last you for HOURS! If you've got help in the car, it'll go very fast. Nice yeasty flavor, with plenty of cinnamon and just the right amount of sugar...the rest of their food that I had... More
A wonderful hokey country atmosphere, and good homestyle cooking. The pot roast dinner could have kept me full for days!! THE place to stop in The Dalles.

I loved the French toast and my husband had the big breakfast with wonderful biscuits and apple butter. Wish we had one of these in the south where we live. People would love it!
A restaurant that serves real mashed potatoes is one to be valued. I had chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy and fresh green beans cooked al dente. The salad was fresh and crisp and the service was great. my husband had a chicken pot pie and coconut cream pie for dessert. Every bite was scrumptious!
