Food was very good. Just a loca tavern with a pool table, video poker and tv, but, oh the food. Bacon burger, pastrami especially.

The Relief Pitcher Tavern is just that a Tavern right on Hwy 101 going to Seaside. In the winter watch out because it's right in the path of the flood zone. In all you get a great meal if you don't mind the dumpy look from the outside. A place to drink beer and swap fish stories.

A run down shack. If you read this listing and think oh, this is one of those greasy spoon, good tasting places that people have an inside track too, your WRONG! It's gross! Watch the owner MIKE, not wash his hands! What does he say to your face? How does he treat you? It's nasty!

Last night we stopped by Relief Pitcher again for a cheeseburger. This time with bacon! We came to the conclustion that this place definitely rates amongst the Top 3 Best Burgers on the West Coast category.
