This was our third visit - a great place to eat: wonderful food (ribs, prime rib, corn bread, sour dough!) and a great ocean view. Try it.

We weren't that hungry but, we enjoyed the bar area and had an appetizer. Friendly wait staff and interesting drinks.
I was admittedly a bit skeptical but walked away convinced. We had a nice 5pm Saturday night dinner and a wonderful view of the beach.
PROS: Food was good. Wife had Caesar salad and coconut chicken appetizer. The latter came with 2 flavorful sauces. I ordered the Dijon chicken which was tender, tasty and filling. Lava cake dessert was not...

The food is what you imagine for hotel food, which means it's fine, but not memorable. The view is wonderful. The restaurant is very comfortable for friend dinners or meetings. The only really memorable item I can think of is the pasta Diablo, which is yummy and full of fatty deliciousness.
We attend the NW Poets' Concord every spring, held at the Hallmark Inn in Newport, Oregon. Georgie's is the restaurant attached to the hotel. The first time we attended, we thought that a restaurant at a hotel would probably not be anything to shout about, but we were wrong. Eating at Georgie's is one of the things we look forward...

I had the portabella burger and hubby, who is English, had the fish & chips that he declared to be the best in town! Nice staff, great view, very good value. Don't let the Denny's décor put you off. Good looking bar and beer on tap.
I had the Diablo pasta dinner and the wife had a dish with four different meats. Both came with perfectly prepared garlic bread. Food was outstanding and just slightly more than I needed to eat.
View from restaurant is great. Right on the water. The inside decor was a bit bland (I didn't mind), but notice I'm not knocking the...

We came to Newport, OR and stayed at the Hallmark Resort for an anniversary getaway from Seattle, WA and, while there were many options in town for dining, we continued to go back to Georgie's Beachside Grill because of the great menu and even more so because of the fast and casual relationship we developed with one of the young...

We had a lovely dinner here on a Saturday evening. It was prom night so the place was pretty busy but they seated us in less time than the 30 minute expectation. We sat right along the cliff, overlooking the beach. The food was delicious, and a good amount at a fair price. Our waitress was very attentive and we...

Our server was great -- very personable and informative. Everyone at our table had something different, so we sampled each others fare. All the dishes were well prepared and seasoned perfectly - at least in our party's opinion. I will definitely visit Georgie's again on my next trip to Newport.
LoneGuzzi,
