We were there on Mother's Day, so they had a simplified menu, but it was great, and all the wait staff worked seamlessly together. They knew their stuff, too.

This restaurant was quite nice. The ambiance was great - reminded us of a restaurant in France where you go down into a cellar to eat. The food was excellent! The only thing which was not great was the service. For some reason, the waitresses rotated tables the whole time so we never had the same person twice. This resulted...

I took my cousin, whom I had not seen in 50 years to Subterra. The ambiance was typical for Subterra: charming. We were able to eat and reminisce in an unhurried setting. The ginger chicken salad and the prime rib Caesar salad were both outstanding. Owners Janet and Martin continue to make Subterra a must for visitors to Newberg, OR.

My wife and I had a great lunch at Subterra and if we are ever back in Oregon, will definitely return to try their dinners. Staff was very friendly and service was good.

Our food was above average, but...

During our family trip to fabulous LePuy Inn, Subterra was our first dinner after a long flight. Very relaxing but elegant. Both food and service were wonderful - the recommendation was well received by a very diverse group.

It's not a cheap place to eat, but prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. And if you have any business at or reason to...
