We had the best Croissant in our lives. Food, ambiance and service was excellent. You must try it if you are in the area.
Stumbled across this patisserie while filling in Thanksgiving in Portland. What a find! Lots of choices - we had the portabello mushroom and goats cheese quiche and the vegetarian croissant, and the house soup (turkey pasta and veg.in a wonderful broth). Pastries are totally decadent and irresistible - amazingly creative flavor combinations. Enough to entice me to stay longer so... More
The new location suits them fine, it feels like your in France. I love to meet friends here on Sat. or Sunday brunch we are never disappointed . Their pastries are all amazing too. Have also gone for dinner, (in the summer it's great to sit outside). Once I was on a special diet, called ahead to see what they... More
Delicous breakfast, godd coffee and great prices. Lovely patio on dry days! The risotto cakes with poached eggs and croissants are especially worth the trip.
I really enjoyed our meal here. We went on Friday for lunch and were told our wait would be 30 minutes. It ended up being around 40 or so but we killed time in the nice market a few doors down. The food was very good. Nice and fresh and came out quickly. My grandma loved the coffee. My wild... More
We stopped by La Provence for brunch with a few family and friends. Delicious brunch- loved the side of Provencal potatoes, and the Benedict was oh-so-delicious. Definitely recommend!!
This a great place for breakfast if you have the time to wait for a table and can relax because the service is very slow. The pastries are wonderful and the selection of entrees are fabulous. The waiter forgot a few orders at our table but there was more than enough to share. You have to be very patient to... More
Is this one of the best meals I have ever had in a restaurant? Probably not. One of the best meals I have had in the United States? Without a doubt. The menu features classic French entrees in small portions at $5.95 and $6.95 each. That is not a typo: six or seven buck for the entree. You need to... More
A friend and I went to La Provence after hearing glowing reviews by others and we were not disappointed. It is a very nice restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. We arrived at 12:30 and the place was packed--always a good sign. We were quickly seated though I was definitely enjoying the views of the bakery cases during our... More
We stopped in late Saturday afternoon for one of their yummy desserts & a cup of coffee. Although we were seated quickly we waited at least 15 minutes before the coffee actually arrived. We ordered our desserts (there were only 2) and we waited & waited & waited. All the time noticing that the tables near us were getting there... More
