Vali's is unique. It offers only one entrée per night -- a different one each night. The restaurant has seasonal openings. It is closed much of the winter and only open weekends until Memorial Day. Then it is open 6 days a week. We were lucky to be there on a Saturday night and were served a delicious rib eye... More

Friends treated us to this unique Bavarian type place for a royal multi-course meal. Everything was scrumptious. Can't wait to return for another one of these evening experiences.

Vali's is not your typical spot to pop into for a bite to eat. First, you must have a reservation. Each night of the week there is a different main course offered, in fact the only entrée offered for the evening. The result is a meticulous presentation of culinary excellence. Maggie Vali plays host and server for the evening. Your... More

I grew up in Joseph, Or and spent many summer days in my youth at Wallow Lake. It is always a treat to visit my old stomping grounds when i visit my parents and what a special time we had this past weekend having dinner at Vali's. It was like stepping back in time. The food was just as good... More

This Hungarian restaurant is only open Wed-Sundays thru Sept. It is a family operation and hard to beat. One waitress does it all and she has personality plus. Don't plan on getting a menu because each night you get what they serve. It was delicious and all homemade right down to the rolls and dessert. And at a very good... More

My wife, my children, my parents, my whole family at one time or another has dined at Vali's. It is without a doubt one of the best places we have ever eaten. Not only is the food excellent but the Vali's make you feel as though you are home and treat us like family or old friends. The mountain cabin... More

This is more, much more, than going somewhere to eat. Each evening Vali's serves one dish, at two settings, and you need reservations. All of the meals are great and filling. Desert chef on staff. The owner serves you personally and her son, the chef, will come around and introduce himself. It is as if you've been invited into their... More

The food, environment and service is absolutely amazing. We eat at Vali's everytime we are in town, sometimes more than once. Saturday night steak is my favorite but we have had many delicious meals on different days. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a enjoyable meal and delightful service. The donuts they hand make each weekend are superb... More
