Met with a large group of Shriners for dinner before a parade the next morning. Menu includes local seafood (most is deep fried). Fish taco was tasty. Calm chowder was thick and creamy and flavorful. Similar experience as eating at Mo',s but in a much smaller environ and less hectic and noisy. Location is in Nye Beach so a number... More

Had an early lunch of clam chowder (very good!) and salad (average). Service was excellent. Place was clean and well-kept. It was a brief visit, but we will go back and try more on the menu (which looked very good). Prices were about right.

I would have rated this placea zero, but my husbands fish strips were tasty. Decor is dated, staff not very friendly and my "home made chili" tasted like it came straight from the can.

She took our order and delivered our food without everything we had asked for. Never saw her again! Had to beg for a check. you would think Depoe Bay would have a Moes! Should have just waited until we got back to Lincoln City.

The food was good, but all 4 of our orders were wrong. Never got a check. Had to just go to the cashier to pay and get a to go box. No toilet paper in the bathroom.

I guess we're spoiled. Living in a California coastal town, we expected as much if not more from the Oregon coast. The Chowder Bowl was clean, funky and filled with coastal kitsch. (The train running around the room was a cute touch.) The clam chowder was thin, lukewarm and tasted more like a canned version than the real thing. The... More

It is a cute little restaurant....not too big, not too small. Pretty good chowder. We like other places better, but it's still good.

We love clam chowder, so when we travel to Depoe Bay, this is our first stop. The chowder here is rich and tasty. The service and prices are very good.

The chowder is great. The tee shirts are great. And, yes about the service. yep the whole restaurant was full of customers. But this kid, Eric, worked his butt off all alone, served all the customers as fast as possible. He acknowledged everyone at each table. Filled the drinks, brought out the food. And, Oh Yeah, ran the cash register... More

We were in the afternoon around 1:30, we walked in and seated ourselves right away. There were 2 waitresses on duty-the 2nd one left immediately after we arrived. The only Other server was immediately overwhelmed as a lot of parties started arriving. So needless to say, we got zero drink refills, no to go box for my left over chili... More
