We let Justin chose what to feed us with the 5 item tasting menu. He did a fantasitic progression of very well exicuted dishes and we were able to find very good wine pairings from the selections by the glass. ( almost always a problem elsewhere for me) We were surprised, happy and satisfied.

The food was absolutely fabulous, I think I can honestly say the best I’ve eaten in the past 20 years. The view is great, of the waves crashing into Whale Cove, and the restaurant itself wonderfully decorated with exactly the right background music. It is a bit pricey, but well worth it.

Superb scallop dish BUT we left talking about how ridiculous the amount of food was. Yes, we are light eaters, which was a good thing! We had a great meal, very interesting food. It compares well with the Michelin starred restaurants in Europe I have eaten in. The dishes are beautifully prepared and interesting combinations of items. A bit on the expensive side, by Oregon standards, but well worth it. Get there early for a window seat with the great view. We so enjoyed our meal at Beck ~ the pork belly with hay ice cream was so good I wanted to place a second order for dessert. Chef Justin has a very creative culinary imagination. We will eat here every time we are in town!

Dinner was outstanding: Good selection, great preparation and presentation, very nice service, and wonderful view of Whale Cove while it was light. Breakfast was very good and included in the hotel rate.
