My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our first dining experience at del Alma. Rather than grazing through tapas, we each started with the soup of the day--a sweet and slightly spicy sweet potato bisque with a black bean topping. Quite delightful. We then moved on to the main course: lamb for my husband, duck confit for me. Both dishes had... More

We did not make a reservation and it was a busy night, so our group of 5 were invited to sit in the bar area. I think that was a lucky deal because we had a quieter experience and a wonderful set of windows to look out. We did not order dinners, but rather shared several tapas. All were inventive... More

We were in town for a race and wanted to have a nice after race meal. We chose del Ama based on reviews and location and we were thrilled with our evening. We did not have a reservation, so we were offered the bar and we had a great meal. The bartender was a master mixologist and we enjoyed watching... More

This is the brightest spot in the food scene in Corvallis. We go there more than anywhere else. The food continues to change, and the service is always excellent.

My husband and I met his mom, sister and her husband for dinner before a concert. I have to say the service, food and atmosphere were wonderful. The bartender made a special martini that I requested and it truly was special. The server was attentive and provided timely service so we could make our show on time. The food was... More

I love everything about this restaurant. First and foremost, the food is excellent. It is called "Latin fusion" which means, basically, prepared using Latin American seasonings. Food has a bit of a kick, but not so much as to overpower anything. Just right. The wait staff is great, courteous, friendly, helpful, and prompt. The ambiance of the restaurant is great.... More

With all the traveling we do, we eat at a lot of restaurants all around the country, but I have to say this amazing restaurant in the sleepy little town of Corvallis feels like it should be in the Big City! It all starts with a terraced dining room that has such a great ambience. Incredible wait staff, every time.... More

Visiting Corvallis again, we were taken to del Alma for the first time. We loved it. This was a special dinner for our daughter's birthday, and we started out by sharing the large, stuffed poblano pepper--wonderful, flavorful, well-seasoned. The bread was warm, fresh, and cake-like (fabulous), with three delicious spreads, the tapenade being especially flavorful. I then had a salad;... More

My husband and I have been traveling to Corvallis for OSU football games. The first weekend we were lucky to have found Del Alma. The food was great with the chef not being afraid to use spice with chilies. The atmosphere is perfect for dining. The service is attentive and has experience with the menu. The menu is small yet...
