Took the family to Bend for a few days over Spring Break. The wife and I love the Old Mill District, and the kids love pizza so it was a perfect choice. The scenery looking out the large windows is amazing with the river running right out the back of the restaurant. The atmosphere in the restaurant is great. A good staff that is very friendly. So, I don't even like pizza very much, but I do like Flatbread's, a lot. And their salads are fantastic, at least the one I always have to order (the chicken apple walnut... sometimes I just crave it). This wood oven pizza was a big disappointment. It is billed as Neapolitan...NOT. The middle of the pie was soggy. There was way too much flour on the crust. Pitiful attempt at reproducing Italian pizza.

This place smells so good when you walk in the door. The lighting and decor is cozy as well. I had the goat, sundried tomatoes pizza. It was excellent. My husband had the Tuscan pizza. He loved it. We would go back.

Food is usually very good at this restaurant, however service is variable and sometimes disappointing. Very long line to get in during the summer months and even weekends in the winter.
