Having grown up in Tulsa White River has been a staple for fresh fish lunches and many a dinner at home. Jumbo shrimp or scallops are good. Some of the best Gumbo you will ever eat.
Read the reviews and decided to give it a try. It did deliver. The fresh shrimp was so good we could have just ordered more and made a meal of the appetizer. The red beans and rice is special, do get this as a side. They had a large selection of fresh fish salmon to tilapia, fried, grill or broiled.... More
I had to stay a night at the Tulsa airport and had read a good review of the White River Fish Market and knew that it was nearby. I am very glad I did! Pros- The broiled red snapper was very good. hushpuppies, red fish, grilled snapper, fried shrimp, gumbo. It's all good and quick and fresh and very reasonably priced. A visit at lunch will almost always include a mayor or former mayor in the crowd, along with physicians, city leaders and a mob of everyday folks.

The grilled shrimp were good & my boyfriend liked the fried combo which included a little variety. I have to say the hush puppies... More
absolutely wonderful fresh seafood, served in the most basic environment but in the most delightful way!
