I think the best experience when visiting Rosewood to bypass the longish wait for a table in the dining room and instead sit at the community table in the bar. The drink assortment and few shared appetizers make for a nice meal.

Food is very good. Like sitting in the bar area the best. Good selection of beers and drinks. Have been here about 4 times and would be back!
My family visited this restaurant for a special occasion in early April 2013 with high expectations. It is located in the same building as the old Inn at Turners Mill. When we first sat down on a late lunch the restaurant was nearly empty. The server sat us down at a table that was very wobbly, so much that the...

We were there with a group from work. We had a great dinner, I had the special sea scallops, which were perfectly cooked. Some of my companions had the walleye, which they also enjoyed. No one was unhappy with their meal, and the service was great. A nice dinner all around.
Rosewood Grill has the absolute BEST appetizers. Reasonably priced. Service was good but not great. The biggest drawback is that the dining room is extremely noisy when they are busy. Impossible to hear each other without shouting.
We were invited to join friends here at the last minute on a Friday night. Sat at a booth in the bar area with the noise growing louder as the evening progressed mainly because of the long high table that was gradually filling up with a boisterous crowd. The waitress was excellent with suggestions, frequent returns to see if everything...

The food is good and they have a great wine selection. Don't expect to get a seat for dinner on a Saturday night without calling ahead. There is a community table which you may be lucky to sit at but that wait is still pretty long.
Have been here for drinks a few times. Have been unable to be seated for dinner because it has been too busy. They have said they don't take reservations but you can "call ahead" which we did this time and got a table 30 min's after the appointed time. I still don't understand why they don't call it reservations. The...

When in doubt, go to Rosewood... Live in nearby Aurora and when we need food and service at a constantly high level, Rosewood has never let us down. You can always find something to eat here. Prices range from $8'ish (for sandwiches) to $30/40'ish for very nice entrees. Great atmosphere, helpful staff and a unique beer selection.
Meet up with a big group and grabbed the big table in the bar area. It does get crowded and a bit noisy but the food is good and the location is great!
