I Visited the water bridge after a long day on the road and with 100 miles still to go- I was really hungry and looking forward to a break and a good meal. Joined by my colleague we were seated by a waitress who forced out a half smile and told us out waiter would be over shortly, which we... More

The re-branding of this former Brewer's Fayre venue as a Table Table pub/restaurant seems to have had mixed results. I arrived in the eventing after a long journey from Yorkshire, and found that it was a curry evening. I chose this option, and the curry was excellent. However, the naan bread was poor, being tough and hardly edible, which I... More

Where do i start? Went for a meal last night, and was greeted by the manager i assume it was, who managed to fit us for a table of 2 (it wasn't overly busy, just no tables had been re-laid yet), after being seated at the wobbly table, 5 mins later our drinks order was taken, 10 mins later the... Visited this restaurant after a day out with the children. Nice quite place on first impression and the tables are well spaced and the staff are friendly. We sat near the window facing the A50 which isn't the most exciting view but hey you can't have it all. The menu is OK with reasonable choices for different price brackets, but... More

Now renamed the Water Bridge and my first visit since the name change from the Racecourse and its refurb. We have family meets in this area fairly regularly as equally travelling distance for both sides of the family and have often eaten at the Racecourse in the past due to its easy access of the A50. Food has always been... More

Grandaughter had stayed the weekend with us and we had arranged to meet with parents at this pub so that we could have a pleasant family lunch before she went back home. We don't know where to start. There does not seem to be any area for a pre-lunch drink- so we were shown to our table very quickly. We... More
