This is always a restaurant, bar and good meeting place as not far off the motorway. Excellent food always fresh.
This used to be a top quality pub but every time I go the food is getting worse. The last visit was appalling with a fatty, gristly over cooked steak which hurt my jaw to attempt to eat. Was told off by staff for not complaining earlier but they were so busy I couldn't get their attention - poor cust... More
Went there a couple of years ago wasn't best impressed but thought we would give it another go as we were in the area and a Monday should be better than a busy weekend day. But no sorry to say the food wasn't the best, bones in the haddock, chips were cold, served on cold plates. No one checked to... More
Someone told us about The Priory so we visited the week before Christmas for lunch. It was very busy but we found a small, cozy table in a corner with comfortable armchairs and were surprised with a quite extensive menu at reasonable prices. Food was very good and service excellent, even when they were so busy. Located in cute town... More

This is a really nice pub with a good menu and a nice atmosphere. Very close to Gordano services, the pub is conveniently placed and the food is good quality with a decent selection. Service is reasonable and, although it is probably not as good as it was a couple of years ago, it is still a nice place to... More
Been here a number of times and never had any reason to complain. Recently attended a birthday and the food was better than normal, the staff friendly and helpfull. Good place and very clean and tidy.
Used to use the Priory a lot and always could rely on it for a good meal but the last few years had shown a huge decline in the quality of the food and the service. Hardly any staff, over cooked fish, soggy chips, over cooked eggs and starter portions have shrunk quite dramatically. Vow not to go again as... More
This place is always busy which i can't really understand. Maybe it is because there is not a whole lot of choice of good places to eat locally. Have tried this place on a number of occasions and the food has been mediocre at best. Have completely given up on it now since receiving cold soggy chips on our last... More
