This place is good for the price. All day carvery and small alternative menu. Have tried both and have eaten here a few times. It's ideal for a quick, cheap, easy lunch time venue. The food is not great but it's not bad either. Small play area in garden ideal for children when the weather permitts.

My husband and I dine at The Rufford at least twice a month. We always had excellent hot food. As my husband has a guide dog the staff always ask if the dog requires water to drink.
