Very offhand, to the point of being rude. It is a shame because it is a nice little place in a good location, but the frosty reception has certainly put me off the place for good!

Called in for lunch on a Monday, a good variable menu including snacks, cakes, plum bread & cheese, to steaks etc. Quite busy managed to get a seat s for 3 of us. We visited without booking on a busy Saturday evening. When we asked for a table we were advised that there would be a wait for food. We ordered and the food was a long time coming but we were kept informed, asked if all ok and the food was worth waiting for! Would definitely revisit.

Very good food, reasonably priced, prompt service. Would certainly recommend for drinks and snacks. We had coffee and tea cakes so can't comment on the wider menu but very nice.

Friend and myself called in for a snack whilst out walking, a lovely little place to eat either snacks or full course meals. The aroma coming from the kitchen was delightful, and staff friendly and efficient

Felt rushed, tables too close together and food not freshly made. That microwave sure did ping an awful lot.

I have visited this establishment twice. Once for breakfast when I had scrambled egg and smoked salmon on toast and for lunch when I had the thai fishcakes.
