Mt Barker was a good place for old mid-North friends who now live in the Adelaide Hills and beyond to get together for a meal. We've tried various places, and this was one of the best, though I wouldn't rave about it.

I was a guest at a wedding and enjoyed the ambiance of the function centre and was really looking forward to the food as the menu seemed really nice. For entrée I really enjoyed the prawn cocktail - it was presented very well and tasted fresh. For mains I ordered medium steak with mash - I had two mouthfuls and...

I've been to the Auchendarroch on several occasions and generally quite like going. Staff are always friendly and efficient, food is generally served promptly. The prices are about what you'd expect. I'm likely to continue going back fairly regularly, particularly for the cinema meal deals and specials nights.
We joined friends for dinner and found the food to be very good and well priced. On the evening that we were there, a small group of musicians entertained as well. Good parking and just off the Free-way at Mount Barker.

Includes basic sauces.

Yummy!
Other choices include fish & chips, roast, & lots of other tasty offerings.
The staff were super friendly, prices...

Was here for a birthday party so didn't"t have to pay but the food and service were great, lovely place.

The food was to our liking, as was the choice and quality of salads at the salad bar. Table service was...

Steak cooked to our liking, followed by a decadent double chocolate dessert. With that, good presentation and service, we couldn't fault it!
