Very disappointed that children under 10 are not allowed into the Black Swan for a meal. Therefore myself and my friends will not be able to meet and eat in there again for at least 10 years.

Gourmet food at pub prices; starter, mains and drinks for just over £30 for two. I don't know if their chef is an 'up and coming' but they will struggle to hang on to him/her at this rate!

Black Swan Lounge, excellent food, good, service and drinks, friendly atmosphere. Will revisit with friends again especially to take advantage of deals, which are excellent value.

I used to really enjoy visiting the Black Swan when I lived in Belper. Relaxed atmosphere, perfect for when you just fancy going out for a chat over drinks. The crowd here always seemed to be considerate & friendly. The tapas food here was also pretty incredible.

We have eaten at The Black Swan now a few times, and everytime has been a great experience with the food continuing to suprise us with the quality and taste. Do not know if they have changed management, or just changed chef, but not as good as it used to be. Still good value for money, but like every other pub meal

My wife and I went to the Black Swan before going on to the cinema. Before 7.00 they had a two for £13 and we had the best burger I have tasted along with a great pint and one scoop of home made ice-cream. Great value and fantastic food. W will be going back, offer or no offer.
