When we walked into the mall, there were a couple of restaurants with short or no lines, and then there was this place. The line was about 10 people long. 5 waiting to order, 5 waiting for food. We figured we should follow the crowd in this instance.

We were visiting Valladolid Yucatan to visit the country and a friend who lives there. Lucie took us to the market to have the best soup- Sopa de Lima in town.

Great tasting local food with food costing for, 8 peso to 40 peso. Full of locals and quick service no English but easy enough to get your order across. Get there in the morning or early pm as when we went back at about 4pm it was closed. Located near the main square in a bazaar/plaza.

This place is in the corner of what cannebest described as a food court. Serving mostly local people this place offers well cooked typical dishes until about 2pm.
