I went for the hamburgers and chips, and stayed for the beers (try "Pursuit of Hoppiness"). Simple menu, incredible choices of beers. Downtown location is usually PACKED (Fargo has a vibrant/hip downtown), but the West Fargo location had seating space. Friendly service and it's pretty hard to argue with GREAT burgers for about $4.

We loved the burgers that were priced just right. The chips were perfect. We had a beer sampler and I even found one that I liked and i don't like beer. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed on a Sunday afternoon. A great place to watch a game with a few friends.

I always love coming to JL Beers if I want a great beer on tap or a delicious burger. Don't skimp yourself out of the fresh handcut chips and R-dip either. If possible, try to show up at stereotypical time to eat- seating is extremely limited.
