Excellent soup & salad bar! Terrific atmosphere! I had the cod & it's was alright, but the deep fried coating was a bit thick. Hamburger steak was great! All in all, well worth the stop!

We stayed at the Trappers Inn Aug 19 2012, the next morning we had breakfast at the Trappers Kettle. We had the buffet and it was excellent, lot of choices, all that we tried was very good. Since I'm an avid hunter I especially enjoyed the atmosphere, it is decorated with some excellent taxidermy work, antiques and steel traps of...

In a richly authentic atmosphere, if a bit morbid for animal lovers (rows and rows of animal traps, lots of stuffed heads of game: pronghorns, moose, a bobcat, etc.), the buffet was rich, varied and ample. We stopped in for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The pancakes were large, light &...

When we visit Medora. We always stop for breakfest at the Trapper's Kettle. Great Buffet.
Decent food at a decent price. The server lost our ticket so we waited a while for our food. She was very apologetic and honest.
What a surprise. We truly loved our dinner. Delicious steak. Great soup and salad bar. And we topped it off with a slice of fresh pie. So satisfying Classic comfort food. And herring on the salad bar!
Not too often one can enjoy the true west, in Trapper's Kettle we did. The breakfast was excellent, and the quality was of the highest. Belfield ND may not be a big city, but it was surely a delight to stumble on this hidden gem of the west.
Good soup and pretty good buffet.thats all if have to say i dont eat here to much
