This is a well-known Wilson donut joint, but I didn't see it as anything to write home about. The donuts are kind of dry. They have indoor seating and offer other food options as well, like sandwiches, etc.

The creme filled are de-flipping-licious!!! Wish I lived close enough to eat them more often! Can't wait to eat another one. The light and oh so good!

They sell deep fried and glazed doughnuts (KK-style not DD-style) along with other bakery treats like moon pies and cream puffs. I've never had their lunch items, but they do sell sandwiches and have a small seating area. They're located off Tarboro Street on a road that parallels the side of the train bridge.
