This is a well-known Wilson donut joint, but I didn't see it as anything to write home about. The donuts are kind of dry. They have indoor seating and offer other food options as well, like sandwiches, etc.

I always look forward to eating a Wilson Doughnut Shop doughnut. They are so fresh!! They definitely are better than Krispy Creme and better than Dunkin. And I know they give their old doughnuts to a food bank every week.

Wilson doughnut shop has great doughnuts that are home made and fresh. Accidents can happen and with a grade of 101.5 (-which is one of the only ones in Wilson and surrounding areas) it must be a clean place to achieve this grade. I will continue to be a patron at Wilson doughnut shop!

On 4/14/12 at 11:00am I stopped by Wilson's Donuts to get some Donuts to take back home to Baltimore. I was in town on an unofficial college visit with my daughter at East Carolina University. My parents live in Wilson and as long as I can remember Wilson's Donuts have been to "die for" because of their delicious southern taste.... More

I grew up on these doughnuts. The chocolate covered cream puffs and/or long johns are a must have. I like them better than Krispy Kreme, but I am biased because they are all I ever ate until I went to college and had to find the Krispy Kreme store by Peace College in Raleigh. The ghetto-like surroundings where the building... More

They sell deep fried and glazed doughnuts (KK-style not DD-style) along with other bakery treats like moon pies and cream puffs. I've never had their lunch items, but they do sell sandwiches and have a small seating area. They're located off Tarboro Street on a road that parallels the side of the train bridge.
