4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 May 2013 NEW

4 of 4 stars (excellent, casual dining). (see explanation of ratings below) VERY popular (make a reservation), fun spot in North Raleigh. Great selection of tequila. Allow 40-50 minutes (no dessert). About $10-$20 (no dessert). Good food at a great price. About my ratings: Only fine dining establishments can garner five stars. Until TripAdvisor realizes that a fast food joint... More

This is such a great/unique place, you know a restaurant is good if it's always packed, which this place is. We've been here 3 times now and it's been great every time, and there's enough variety to always try something different. Entrees run between $10-15 which is quite reasonable, although the drinks seemed a bit expensive ($6 for the House... More

Great service, great atmosphere and delicious food. I stayed at the Renaissance in North Hills and although there are many restaurants around the hotel, I found this little gem worth the drive!

Very popular in No Raleigh restaurant as there's always a crowd. Went for drinks/appetizers one week and returned 2 wks later for dinner. Fish Tacos were excellent. I love the "spicy" margaritas (habanero pepper muddle makes the spice). No doubt this place will be hopping even more in May for Cinco festivities. It is loud, so it would be difficult... More

If you are in North Raleigh and would like a GREAT place to have dinner, go to Gonza's! They have an outstanding staff and the owner walks around making sure everything is running smoothly. We have been here several times enjoying a number of different items from the menu - we really like their version of burritos. All of the... More

This is a great place to go with friends or family. Noise level is pretty loud as the place is always busy. The food is excellent and is priced very fair. They have an extensive selection of tequillas and they have more food items than they list on the menu. This is a pretty casual place as attire is varied... More

The Mexican Flag, Nachos Gabachos, and Coconut Flan are my all-time favorites! The staff is friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. The atmosphere is casual and fun. We love the Day of the Dead painting on the right back wall and collection of wrestling masks. Very cool place to take friends for dinner or lunch--all ages.

4 of 4 stars (excellent, casual dining). (see explanation of ratings below) Allow 45 minutes. I like Gonza and I like his restaurant. But, it's been more than a year now and the menu hasn't changed much. The "Ghost Menu" items are now in print, but --- other than that--- the menu is the basically same. Would love to see... More

Well priced, excellent food, pleasant service, will return! On Saturday nights, watch for the model on top of the entrance wall...she's not a mannequin!
