I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant last week. The decor is awash with local history while the food is the very best in local cuisine. Owens is a must when visiting Nags Head.

We set up a family birthday party for 30 at Owens in the upstairs room. We ate off the regular menu. Owens did an excellent job. Every meal was excellent. Not only was the food excellent, but they got it served promptly - and it was hot! We did not expect to find a restaurant of this quality and capability...

Whenever we visit the Outer Banks, our go-to restaurant is always Owens'. Typically, we will eat there our first and last nights. It has fantastic seafood and steaks. The quality control is always spot on, as (for the ten years we've been coming to the Banks) the food and service is always perfect. My wife and I are not your...

Owens' is always at the top of our list for eating out when visiting our beloved OBX. Although the prices are a tad high, the food is exceptional. Hushpuppies are to die for and key lime martinis delicious. My husband absolutely loves the coconut shrimp/crabcake pairing. A unique, cozy atmosphere completes the experience.
This is an outstanding restaurant. My wife had seafood and soup and I had prime rib and salad. The service was amazing. They begin with a crock of cheese and crackers and that was replaced by bread and butter. The seafood was amazing and it included the largest 'half' a lobster tail we had ever seen. The prime rib was...

I've gone to this restaurant almost once or twice per year for the past 15 years. Some years, it's great. Other years, it's not. For 2012, the prices were ridiculous and the food was disappointing. I would recommend Blue Moon for better food at half the price.
Had Margarita Scallops and they were fabulous! Salad was very good, good beer on tap. Excellent service.
Wow ! Had the surf n turf. Steak was like butter.....I've eaten at a lot of steak houses and aren't usually too impressed. But this place is absolutely excellent..... Leave room for dessert too.
Walking in, from the bright lovely early evening, felt like walking into a cave. Dark and gloomy looking. We ordered specials -- BBQ pork tenderloin and shrimp, which came with an interesting mix of potato/corn/bacon/onions. The BBQ had good flavor, but the pork tenderloin was tough. And the other was a dry-rub full rack BBQ special. Lots on the plate,...

Wonderful Restaurant to visit, very elegant. We had an excellent waiter, Cote, who knew how to take care of his patrons. The service was attentive and prompt. The food was perfectly prepared, and tasted fantastic. Dessert was amazing with many choices that made it difficult to choose.
Romantic dinner or quiet elegant family dinner, definitely try Owens and remember to...
