We love Joey's Pancake House and never miss going there when we stay in Maggie Valley. It is the best breakfast and worth the wait.
The food was well prepared and the menu extensive, hash-brown casserole was the best I've had. Blintz was very good and well made. The servers are friendly and attentive, which was a surprise considering the amount of business they do. Atmosphere was cozy and the other patrons "well behaved", it must be something in the coffee... We have lived here... More
We stopped in for breakfast on the way home and it was the right choice. Short wait, friendly service, food came out quick (and was delicious). It's always great to find an unexpected gem on a trip. Highly recommend.
While staying Maggie Valley for a week long vacation, during the middle of the week we decided to try Joey's since we had been seeing the crowds gathered there for breakfast. We were greeted before we reached the door with the warmest "Won't y'all come on in" that I have ever heard. Entering in is like a step back in... More
So the decor in Joey's is so dated, wagon wheel lights really? BUT it was super clean. No dust on the fixtures thank you very much, which is more than I can say for many of the newer trendier places. The staff were not just friendly, but efficient. I had to laugh when my husband said, "I guess the service... More
This place was packed and was probably because its about the only rearurant thats open on Tuesdays. Service was excellant food was nothing outstanding and it was expensive for eggs and pancakes for 2 cost us $26.00. We spent less for dinner at local bbq place for dinner that was excellent.
Joey's came highly recommended. We were going to visit the "Wheels Thru Time" Museum (which I will review next) in Maggie Valley and were recommended to this restaurant. We had a long wait, 45 minutes to be exact, but it was a beautiful day and we were with great friends. The staff was very friendly and while the wait was... More
Back to Joey's this morning for a heart stopping plate of eggs, country ham, pancakes, grits....the works. A wait for seating here is the norm and we were no exception. But once we were seated, we were attended to very promptly and everything we were served was just delicious. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is perfect for a simple... More

We had the oatmeal which we hadn't had in years and choice of bananas or nuts and brown sugar with it. Omg soooo good!! a line to get in and service was great so very worth the waiting time.... More
Good food, good prices, good service. Very busy place but they move the line reasonably well. Best to go early if you plan to get seated right away. We had a pretty long wait and it was Friday Morning.
