Had the jordans special. Fried flounder, shrimp, orsters, clam strips all was over cooked. Cant believe the ratings people gave this place.
We enjoyed our dinner here on the first night of our Carolina Adventure. I had Deviled Crab Cakes & my husband had a combo platter. Food was hot, tasty, & of quality. Love the meal started of those great Hush Puppies!
I ordered the larger shrimp and bay scallops panned in butter. The senior citizen portion size was not skimpy at all and they were so very tasty. Cooked to perfection!. Even the baked potato was done perfectly. My companion had the chefs salad and it was large and full of several typical items. The seafood flavor was not masked by... More
Small local seafood restaurant that needs updated in decor, beer list, and food. Our waitress was great- attentive and pleasant. We waited a while for our meal eating hush puppies. My crab cakes were overdone and dried out- almost crunchy. My husbands oysters were too over breaded and dry. The side of scallops were huge but expensive and rubbery. The... More
We stopped here when I got an inexplicable craving for fried fish with mayonnaise. After convincing my husband that I really did want greasy food, we walked into Jordan's in our beach clothes and were greeted warmly. The servers were gracious and prompt and recommended catfish over flounder, which surprised me. But the recommendation was spot on. Fried fish sandwich,... More
Friendly, simple, North Carolina style seafood. Excellent value. Don't expect anything fancy. It's just great home style cooking. We eat there every time we are down there.
Our family tried Jordan's for dinner and what it was missing in atmosphere was more than made up for with good service and great seafood. Restaurant is sort of plainly decorated inside, but services was great, food was delicious and portions were plentiful. We tried a variety of dishes, Kid's meal, fish, sandwiches and seafood platter. Everyone was very satisfied... More
We both had the fried oysters and deveined shrimp with sides of green beans, fries and baked potato. Also started with the ocean onion appetizer. It was all very good and well cooked. Service was good. The only little thing I wasn't happy with (and yes it is minor to most people) but not having fresh lemon for my tea... More
This is a nice family-style seafood restaurant. The prices are quite reasonable. One nice feature they have -- that should be copied by other restaurants -- is a "Senior" price option. The "Senior" price option is not based on age, anyone can order it. It is a little bit smaller than the regular size portion.
