Great service and atmosphere. Food is expertly prepared. Choices are plentiful. Sea bass is excellent

Went here for lunch last week. Everything about this experience was wonderful. The restaurant had a busy lunch rush but the service was attentive and prompt. My companion had fish and chips, I had grouper. The oyster selection looked amazing but we did not try them, I'll be back to try them

Went with a big group for work - had the Blue Point oysters and they were outstanding. Also had crab cakes and calamari as an appetizer. Great bottle of wine, service was excellent. I had the sea bass and was impressed with the quality and freshness of the fish and preparation.

My girlfriend and I went to this restaurant for Charlotte Restaurant week. Admittedly it ended up not being that much cheaper than a normal night but my word was it incredible. Delightful choice. The oysters are delicious, in particular the gulf oysters. The east coast oysters were just okay though. The service was okay. Needs to be more attentive to match the food quality. Also, they had a tax on the receipt that was inexplicable by the server. He didn't even try to get an explanation. Huge turnoff.

Although Upstream doesn’t present itself as a Japanese restaurant (it is not), the menu has a long list of maki and rolls, plus several sushi and sashimi stables. Went for our anniversary and had a great time. Appetizers were awesome. Great staff. Every thing was great. Perfect spot.

Wife and I went for an over-nighter to Charlotte - shopping, then dinner at Upstream. A fantastic dinner, appetizer, salad, and entree. Excellent service.
