Came down to dine my UNCC son with my fiance. Told the Grille I wanted to make sure it was special and they treated us very well. Can't thank them enough. Great steaks , fabulous lobster Mac and everything else. Excellent.

I was lucky enough to be hosted as part of a 12 person business group. Great appetizers, nice wine and very good food, including dessert. The service was impeccable. The only criticism i have, and I say this toungue-in-cheek, was that the portions were too large. So by all means, if you get a chance, stop in and enjoy.

ALFA conference was in Charlotte today so we took customers to Capital Grille. We did not have a reservation and although they were busy they still found a table for us. The meal was great, the wine was lovely, the martini was the best and of course the staff is always fabulous!

I would go back to Charlotte just to eat there again. Yes it was that good. The service nor the food nor the excellent selections of wines can be beat anywhere in the city. It is a busy place so make sure you call ahead for a table. Great atmosphere for dinner conversations, laughs, or just admiring. The lobster bisque... More

The Capital Grille in Charlotte is one of my favorite restaurants. It's location near the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center makes it a fantastic spot for a before concert drink. Because this downtown venue is extremely busy, I make a reservation for a table in the bar when going down on the weekend. You can order anything on their menu in... More

Hotel front desk suggested that I try a restaurant that is a couple doors down from the capital grill. I went to look at that menu but they didn't have enough to choose from. I was starving as I started my day at 5am and it was now 5pm and I hadn't had a decent meal. Well I decided on... More

Atmosphere was very nice. We didn't get to sit in the dining room because we didn't have reservations. We sat at a table across from the bar. We felt we were in the dining room. Very nice. The food, very rich and full of flavor. Our server was wonderful. Food was warm and the presentation was stellar.

I had been looking forward to dining here at a Charlotte 'institution' for a long time. Last Friday night, I dined at the Capital Grille. The reservation was made three days in advance and I was happy to know that I was welcome to bring my own wine and the corkage fee was a reasonable $20. Upon arrival, I was... More
