Dandelion is a great representation of Charlotte dining. It is casual, stylish and delicious! My favorite menu item is the Prosciutto Crostini with the Balsamic reduction. The $20 bottles of wine are great and the decor is perfect for the area. My eyes are always bigger than my stomach at Dandelion, and they never disappoint.

We were looking for restaurant uptown on a Sunday night before a concert at the McGlohon Theatre. Happened upon this restaurant as we walked along Tryon St. Read the menu in the window and went in. We were very happy we did. American tapas style dishes. Definitely recommend the stuffed poblano peppers and lamb chops. A fine selection of wines... More

Relocated 2 years ago to this area. It took a visit from my cousin in Asheville NC to introduce me to Dandelion Market. Exposed brick, old world lowcountry feel, generous Bloody Mary bar and shrimp/grits entree to rival the coast. Love the Grit Cakes versus some gooey bowl of grits with shrimp floating/drowning in gravey on top. Best I have EVER... More

Visited this restaurant for a Thursday evening dinner. When we arrived it was quite cool so we requested an upstairs table in this old building restaurant. They indicated they only had 2 tables left and neither was really a good table but we were starved so chose one very small table. Unfortunately the reason it was not a recommended table... More

When we were walking around uptown I saw the signage up one of the streets and was intrigued by the name. Then, as I was searching for our next culinary experience on Trip Advisor I saw Dandelion was well respected. After reviewing the menu and the reviews we decided to go for Saturday’s lunch/brunch before heading to a play. When... More

I have been to the Dandelion Market twice now and I hope I never have to go back. The only reason I went twice is because my girlfriends friends like this place. First off it is tapas for dinner and when they say small plates they mean small!!!! Some plates are bigger than others but you never know. I paid... More

Don't get me wrong...some of the items were very good but some were not. This is a small plate restaurant so we ordered about 8 different items to share. This was fun in itself but not fun/good enough to make me want to go back when there are so many good places in Charlotte. If you do decide to go,... More

The restaurant was nice enogh to accomodate a party of 20 upstairs for a birthday celebration. Despite the large size of our group and the increasing crowds upstairs as the night progressed, our waitress remained patient and ensured we all had a great experience - even splitting that many bills. As for food, we ordered everything on the menu -... More

Really nice place peaceful enough and variety of food (Mediterranean I presume) you can get several small dishes so you can try several different ones in the same visit (perfect to share with our friends)
